AI - Backend Engineer

About the Role

Build scalable backend systems and integrate AI/ML concepts into healthcare applications, including LLM integration, RAG pipeline development, and vector search systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build microservices and event-driven architectures
• Develop secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs with authentication and monitoring
• Integrate LLMs and build RAG pipelines
• Implement vector search systems and AI agent orchestration
• Optimize inference performance and manage data pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis experience
• AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Distributed systems knowledge
