About the Role

Commis Chef needed at Coco Veranda, Colombo 7, to prepare Sri Lankan and Chinese dishes and maintain high kitchen hygiene standards in a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare Sri Lankan dishes (rice & curry, kottu, hoppers, short eats)
Execute Chinese cooking techniques (wok dishes, stir-fry, sauces, deep-fry)
Maintain mise en place standards
Uphold food hygiene and kitchen safety protocols

Requirements

Previous experience in Sri Lankan and/or Chinese food preparation
Basic knife skills
Food hygiene knowledge
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work under pressure
