About the Role
Mid-senior technical role leading garment development across underwear, swimwear, activewear, and loungewear, with responsibilities in fit evaluation, vendor training, and quality assurance from initial sample through production approval.
Responsibilities
Document fitting feedback and analyze garment construction quality issues
Evaluate garment fit across multiple sizes from initial samples through production approval
Manage vendor communication regarding sample timelines and technical concerns
Implement and assess Standard Operating Procedures with internal and external partners
Lead vendor training for production and fit approval processes
Develop cross-functional relationships with sourcing, design, and vendor teams
Resolve pattern, grading, and quality discrepancies
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Technical Design, Pattern Grading, or equivalent
Minimum 3+ years relevant experience
Expertise in fitting, pattern making, grading, construction, and testing
Knowledge of sewing, stitch properties, and garment details
