Trainee Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Support operational improvements and manufacturing reliability through machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance scheduling, hydraulic/pneumatic system repairs, and technical design using SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment, troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures
• Maintain shop equipment and fabricate parts to specifications
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Support machine disassembly, inspection, and reassembly during major repairs
• Design and modify equipment using SolidWorks for 3D modelling
• Monitor energy performance and conduct technical diagnostics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong academic background in engineering principles
• Basic engineering software knowledge preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong learning agility and self-driven attitude
