About the Role
Examine tender documents, perform heat load calculations, design HVAC systems, and provide technical guidance to project engineers during execution phases.
Responsibilities
Examine tender documents, specifications, and bills of quantities to formulate comprehensive proposals within deadlines
Attend pre-bid and tender negotiation sessions
Perform heat load calculations and design systems per specifications
Deliver technical guidance to project engineers during execution phases
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or HNDE/NDT in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
At least 5 years in similar positions, ideally within the HVAC sector
Familiarity with Standard Bidding Documents SBD-02 and CIDA protocols
Proficiency in heat load software, AutoCAD/Revit, and system design tools
Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala, both written and spoken
