Head of Quality & Production / Quality Manager - Intimate Apparel

About the Role

On-site quality and production management authority for intimate apparel factory operations in Sri Lanka, overseeing QC inspections, factory floor quality standards, and coordinating with the US-based team on timelines and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site quality authority during production runs
• Identify and escalate stitch, thread, elastic, and construction issues
• Conduct post-production inspections with photo documentation
• Review tech packs and recommend manufacturability improvements
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring defects
• Maintain purchase order data in production tracking systems
• Coordinate communication between the US team and factory on timelines
• Track open items and ensure production visibility for all stakeholders

Requirements

• 10-15 years of hands-on intimate apparel production and quality management
• Specific expertise in bralettes, underwear, and related garment categories
• Senior-level quality or production management background
• Based in Sri Lanka with reliable on-site factory access
• Deep QC expertise including stitch types, thread tension, and elastic attachment
• Lingerie construction knowledge
• Proficiency with production tracking systems
• Excellent written English for daily communication with US team
• Direct, assertive communication style with factory management
