About the Role

Implement the communications and visibility plan for the EMPOWER Project, prepare donor reports, capture beneficiary impact stories, and develop communications materials in collaboration with the project team. Based in Kandalady in the Batticaloa district.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement communications and visibility plan of the EMPOWER Project
Prepare timely donor reports as per donor requirements
Capture and collect beneficiary impact stories throughout the project period
Develop communication materials with technical guidance from World Vision Lanka's communications department
Collaborate with the project team on messaging and visibility

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
Minimum 3 years experience in communications or media roles
Proficiency in English; Sinhala and/or Tamil an advantage
Experience in NGO or development sector communications preferred
