About the Role

The Open University of Sri Lanka is recruiting a contract lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the main campus in Nawala. Closing date July 20–22, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in Mechanical Engineering
• Develop and review learning materials suitable for distance education
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
• Participate in departmental academic and administrative activities

Requirements

• Relevant Honours Degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Teaching or industry experience preferred
• Ability to teach in English
