About the Role

Evaluate and process gold pawning transactions at Commercial Bank branches across Sri Lanka, ensuring accurate valuations, documentation, and AML compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle pawning transactions including receipt, appraisal, and redemption of pledged gold items
• Accurately input transaction details into banking systems
• Maintain security and documentation of pledged items
• Provide courteous customer assistance and resolve queries
• Adhere to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations

Requirements

• Age under 35 years
• GCE O/L with passes in English and Mathematics
• Minimum 2 years of pawning and gold valuation experience
• Banking or financial services background preferred
