Pharmacist (Trainee Recruitment)

About the Role

The Ministry of Health is recruiting 164 trainee pharmacists island-wide under salary scale MT-6-2025. Applications close 8 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under supervision
• Complete 6-month orientation training
• Serve in assigned hospital or health institution
• Maintain drug records

Requirements

• B.Pharm or B.Sc. Pharmacy (minimum 120 credits)
• Credit pass in A/L Chemistry
• Sri Lankan citizenship
• Age 18-35 as of 08.07.2026
• Sri Lanka Medical Council registration
