About the Role
Lead the pastry and bakery section across Softlogic's restaurant brands in Colombo, producing high-quality baked goods and desserts to brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead pastry and bakery production to brand recipes and quality standards
- Supervise commis chefs and demi chefs in the section
- Plan and control food costs and minimize waste
- Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
Requirements
- Diploma in culinary arts or pastry from a recognized institute
- 3+ years experience in pastry/bakery in a quality establishment
- Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry techniques
- Leadership ability and attention to detail
