About the Role
Manage procurement and supply chain operations for a growing green energy company in Colombo, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations on supply needs
- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance from vendors
- Maintain procurement records and generate reports
- Support the implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business
- 3+ years purchasing or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
