Head of Quality and Production

About the Role

Senior on-site quality and production manager to represent a US brand at Sri Lankan intimate apparel factories, conducting inspections and managing defect reduction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site quality inspections during production runs
• Identify issues related to stitch tension, thread application, and garment construction
• Oversee post-production inspection with third-party QC (SGS)
• Generate photo-documented quality reports for US team
• Review tech packs and recommend manufacturing improvements
• Track open items and ensure production visibility

Requirements

• 10-15 years hands-on intimate apparel production and quality experience
• Deep technical QC expertise in stitch types, thread tension, elastic attachment, and lingerie construction
• Sri Lanka residency with reliable on-site factory access
• Availability to overlap with US East Coast hours
• Excellent written English
